Cardi B Claims She Threw A Speaker At Rah Ali

Cardi B has confirmed reports of a heated altercation with reality TV personality Rah Ali at the Cannes airport, stating she threw a speaker during the confrontation.

The incident, which occurred in early July, reignited long-standing tensions between the rapper and Ali, who were previously involved in a widely publicized feud linked to Cardi B’s ongoing conflict with Nicki Minaj. The two women crossed paths at the French airport while traveling separately, resulting in what Cardi later described as a tense and emotional moment.

Speaking during an X Spaces livestream, Cardi B said the incident escalated after Ali allegedly stared her down in the lounge. According to the rapper, Ali then told her to “grow up,” prompting Cardi to throw a JBL speaker at her. “She’s acting like she was gonna fight, but she wasn’t really aggressive,” Cardi said. “So that’s when I threw a JBL speaker on her head.”

Ali, however, denies being struck. On her OnSited podcast, she offered a different version of events, saying she was surprised by Cardi’s behavior and maintained that no physical contact took place. She also revealed she was in a wheelchair at the time due to an undisclosed health condition.

“Had anyone hit me in my head with a speaker, you would be viewing footage of me in handcuffs,” Ali stated. “This was not a fight—it was embarrassing.”

Ali criticized Cardi’s conduct, saying it reflected poorly on both women and the broader community. Despite the verbal sparring, no charges have been filed and neither party has reported any injuries.

The altercation appears to be the latest chapter in a feud dating back to a 2018 New York Fashion Week scuffle involving Cardi B, Rah Ali, and Nicki Minaj. While both Cardi and Ali have since moved in different professional directions, their brief encounter in Cannes has reignited public interest in the years-old drama.
