Section Of I-95 In Philadelphia Collapses After Tanker Fire

Pennsylvania state police are investigating a shooting that took place Monday (June 16) morning along Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia.

According to police, the shooting happened along I-95 between Aramingo Avenue and the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge at about 5 a.m.. Officers arrived on the scene at about 8 a.m..

Police then revealed to NBC10 Philadelphia that a 51-year-old Philadelphia man told troopers that he was involved in a road rage incident while traveling along I-95 north. The man said an older model maroon Honda Civic sedan pulled next to his vehicle and someone inside the vehicle fired four shots. The car then quickly exited the interstate at the next exit.

The victim’s car was struck, but no one was injured in this incident, police said.

Police are seeking a maroon, older model Honda Civic 4-door sedan with tinted windows, officials said.
