Nelly Apologizes To Eminem Over Past Beef
Nelly went to the public to apologies to Eminem for beefing with him over what was “miscommunication.”
Nelly spoke to Bootleg Kev when he made the apologize about a miscommunication that happened back in the early 2000’s. “I misinterpreted something when I was really, really new and I want to apologize to Em,” he said. “But I was at a time where I’m coming in, I’m the new guy, anybody talking… you know, we from the Lou. Somehow I misinterpreted that he had something to say about what we were doing.”
He then explained how they managed to patch up their differences in Detroit, a wholesome meeting that left him feeling like a “dick.” Nelly explained that Eminem and him were at an after party back in the day, and Eminem was with his daughter at a young age. “He came up to me and was like ‘Yo man, my daughter’s a huge fan.’ I felt like a dick, man. Because we were Eminem fans! It was just a miscommunication, man.”
The rapper than went on to give Eminem his praises, calling him a G.O.A.T and how he hated how his relationship was ruined with someone who he admired. The beef with the two started back in August o 2000, where Nelly appeared on MTV’s Total Request Live and took a jab at Eminem about their fight to the top of the charts at the time.
