After falling back from the Drake and Kendrick beef, J Cole is giving fans an intimate look in his music journey. Cole is launching a new “audio series,” Inevitable, co-hosted by Inbrahim Hamad.
J.Cole decided to share a preview of his new project on Instagram yesterday, describing its unique format. He wrote “It’s hard to write a caption to describe what this is. I really don’t even know what to call it. We settled on calling it an ‘audio series,’ but to me it plays like a movie in the form of a conversation.”
The rapper opened up about why this project feels so personal, stating “As the years of my career grew I found myself much more hesitant to share details of my life with the world. Even as I type this, I feel the last little bit of resistance. ‘You sure you want to do this?’”
Despite the hesitation, J.Cole wanted to inspire his fans, leaving them with “If you have your own dream in life… I hope that this will feed your spirit, giving you confidence to believe in that dream and the encouragement to push through the tough times.”
We are still waiting for the newest J.Cole album “The Fall Out” to release. In April, Cole released a mixtape “Might Delete Later” during the rise of the Drake and Kendrick Lamar drama.
