Verzuz Returns With Relaunch Announcement — Coming 2025

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland are teasing the return of Verzuz, hinting that the comeback date is coming soon.

The iconic producers launched the online platform during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic and music lovers were ecstatic with the series. However, Verzuz went on hiatus after Swizz Beats and Timberland had legal issues with former partner Triller. The two ended up being successful in the court battle, retaining full ownership of the platform along with $28 million settlement before entering an exclusive deal with X. (formerly Twitter)

While the two were quiet since announcing their new deal, Swizz Beatz was ready to let fans know that they are closer to relaunch. He shared an exciting update on his Instagram Story. It looked like production for the new series is underway. He also posted merch following the relaunch of the series.

Timberland explained on an interview: “Our goal has always been to bring Verzuz to the world which we can do now bigger than ever.”
