On Friday, August 6th, the School District of Philadelphia, 100.3 The Beat and sister stations 107.9 WRNB and Praise 103.9 hosted 50,000 during the annual Family and Community Back to School Block Party at the School District’s Education Center. Over 10,000 backpacks were given away, and almost a dozen lucky attendees won laptop computers. Check out the photos!
The School District of Philadelphia and 100.3 The Beat invite parents and families to the annual Family and Community Back to School Block Party on Friday, August 6th from 8 am-6 pm at the School District’s Education Center. It's located at 440 North Broad Street (near Spring Garden Street), and the site will be transformed into a fun and informative one-stop location where parents get valuable information so their children are ready to go back to school in September.
