TMZ has learned Faith Evans is in LAPD custody for an alleged DUI tonight. According to law enforcement sources, the singer was stopped at a DUI checkpoint near the Marina Del Rey section of L.A. when officers detected alcohol. We’re told Evans was then arrested and booked on suspicion of DUI.
As you may know, Evans is not a stranger to the police. Back in January 2004, Evans and her husband Todd Russaw were arrested for riding dirty. They were charged with possession of marijuana and cocaine and an improper tag violation during a traffic stop in Georgia.
Faith was arrested and booked on suspicion of DUI on Saturday night, but details of her blood alcohol level have not been released. Story is still developing….
Wonder if this incident was captured for her new reality show It’s All About Faith, which is debuting soon. Hopefully she gets her personal ish together before she drops her upcoming album Something About Faith, October 5th. Maybe she didn’t get the memo: Driving while intoxicated is NOT cool and VERY dangerous.
