This is an oldie but the message is so powerful in this video, that I thought I’d share this with you friend. I have to admit part of me is in love with Jada Pinkett-Smith’s relationship with her children, especially her daughter Willow. Everyone always has something to say about how they’re (Will & Jada Smith) raising their kids but truth be told, you gotta give kids raw & uncut things about life. I’m in love with the fact that they can sit down as a family & chat about anything! Jada, her mom & Willow are seated at “The Red Table” sharing with us a whole deep, raw & uncut conversation.
Jada & her mother chat about resentment & effected the two of them. I think the important thing is that Willow is seated at the table & hearing the entire conversation. “We can’t be perfect on all levels,” says Jada, who mom made sacrifices for her. This is such a beautiful conversation & one that most parents should have with their child(ren).
