Lately, Hip Hop artist, particularly men have been pushing the envelope when it comes to fashion. There is nothing wrong with a little creativity, after all they are artist; however, in recent years it seems as if overly feminine trends have made their way into the wardrobe’s of many male hiphop artist!! For instance, Lil’ Wayne OBVIOUSLY has a fetish for cheetah, 5 years ago if you tried to put a man in anything remotely close to cheetah, they’d probably look at you as if you were insane.
Fashion is a constantly evolving machine and it is understandable for men to want to push the envelope and try new things , BUT what do we consider too far? It seems as if the lines between men and women’s clothing are becoming aggressively blurred. Nothing is black and white in life, but should there be such a ‘gray area’ when it comes to men and womans fashion?

Fashion is supposed to be an outward expression of one’s self, so what is ‘Sir Rocky’ channeling in this picture? A homeless woman? Although Rocky’s fashion ‘non-sense’ in this picture tops my list of Hip Hop Artist Fails, he is not the only offender!

Coming in a number 2 is none other than Tyga of ‘Young Money’ . The only thing missing from this photo is Mac’s signature ‘Pink Friday’ lipstick and a vicariously placed Wendy Williams “How YOU Do’n.” It is very hard to look “manly” in a turtle neck (unless your “The Rock”) however Tyga decided to push the envelope with his ‘fabulously bejeweled ‘chain. In Tyga’s defense the ensemble does posses an aire of ” fabulosity !” Mainly because he is copying Nicki Minaj’s SWAG!

Coming in at number 5 is “the biggest boss there is.” Rick Ross didn’t make the list because his lack of fashion sense, he made the list purely for his lack of clothing.
