50 Cent will face legal action in the revenge-porn case involving Teairra Mari, her attorney Lisa Bloom said Wednesday.
According to Bloom, Mari became a victim of revenge porn last week, when her ex-boyfriend, Akbar Abdul-Ahad, posted sexually explicit images on her Instagram account.
“Mari alleges that this post was designed to publicly humiliate her after she had broken up with him,” Bloom said in a statement issued Wednesday..
Bloom’s statement said, “50 Cent, who appears to be a close friend of Mr. Abdul-Ahad, immediately reposted one of the explicit images to his 18 million followers, with the caption, ‘get the strap.’”
50 Cent took to Instagram on Wednesday, after Bloom’s announcement, to post a photo of himself with Bloom’s mother, attorney Gloria Allred.
