Alexis Ivan Lacen, Jr., born and raised in Bronx, New York and migrated to Delaware at the tender age of 14. It was here where he became the “Supervillain”; derived from his MF Doom Influences and comic book fandom. As a young kid, rapping at the age of 7 in the Bronx with his Uncles, he put together his alter ego! Defined by the word “EVIL” ( Explicit View implicit Life).
The Supervillain intertwines spiritual knowledge with youthful bliss, allowing listeners and fans to journey with him on his coming of age. Songs like “When I Wanna” and “Hail Mary” showcasing the Supervillain’s nonchalant spiritualism of living the implications of his explicit views. Quotable lines such as “Now I’m Chasin Show Moneys She Hop Like Bunnies”; “If It Ain’t Mula It’s Slow For Me”; and “I’m Floating the Room Looks Like a Cloud, Skirting and Dippin Nimbus Wow”. Those are small testaments to the energy he looks to create.
While the Supervillain is making a name for himself in Philadelphia at local venues like the Voltage Lounge and Bourbon & branch, he’s looking to expand. His plans are to tour nationally and then globally bring happiness and that “evil” everywhere he touches!
