Reports stated that the Atlanta-bred rapper Yung Mazi was reportedly shot and killed Sunday evening in his hometown.
Yung Mazi was apart of Kevin Gates’ BWA crew and was only 31 years-old. According to multiple reports from the scene of the crime, Mazi was leaving a pizza place called Urban Pie around 9PM. Atlanta police at the Zone 6 headquarters, across from Urban Pie, stated they ran into the street in response to sounds of gunfire, with officers on the scene estimating they heard about 10 to 25 gunshots.
The shooter has yet to be identified. Rappers such as Rich Homie Quan, Zoey Dollaz, Young Thug and more took to social media to remember Yung Mazi.
