Better late then never, but N.W.A’s isn’t only destroying the box office, it’s even impacting Billboard charts. Their 1988 “Straight Outta Compton” single came in at #38 on the top 40 charts this past week, marking the first time they ever been charted that high. The album is number 4 on the top 200 charts, right behind Dr. Dre’s Compton album. It’s good to see that after all these years, they are finally being credited in the mainstream for their musical impact!
