A Delaware County 6th grade student, Bailey O’Neill, was taken off of life support and has died, following a schoolyard fight which left the boy with a broken nose and concussion.
When O’Neill began having seizures, doctors were forced to put him into a coma.
O’Neill’s father believes his son was a victim of bullying. He said one bully hit Bailey in the face several times, fracturing his nose. He was also knocked down, causing the concussion.
The Delaware County District Attorney’s Office says it has opened an active criminal investigation.
