Authorities are warning all Philadelphia residents about the growing trend of marijuana use in local Philly public schools. “Weed Candy,” which is a mixture of marijuana and sugar-based liquids. Weed candy has become popular with the youth because it can be ingested in public, unlike smoking marijuana. Police aren’y sure if this will be a long-term problem or if it’s just a fab, but aren’t taking any chances in warning parents.
“It’s very concerning for parents because this could easily get into schools,” said local parent Tracy Sullivan.
