Beyonce and Jay-Z reportedly refused to attend the same party as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, as they didn’t want to be associated with them.
While Jay-Z is best friends with his ‘Watch The Throne’ collaborator Kanye, he is said to be less than thrilled at him dating the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality TV star.
According to MediaTakeOut, Kanye and Kim both attended the birthday party of Carmelo Anthony in NYC on Monday night, but Jay and Bey – who were invited – refused to enter the venue until the new couple had left.
Sources claim that Bey and Jay waited outside in their van until they given word that Kim and Kanye had left to attend Scott Disick’s new restaurant opening.
Once Kimye had departed, hip-hop’s number one couple partied away until the early hours. “Swizz Beat was DJing, and Jay and Bey had a great time,” the source told the website.
It was earlier reported that Beyonce has snubbed Kim from her inner circle of friends.
