Philadelphia Police discovered a fetus inside a sewer pipe of a Kensington home last night and try to put the puzzle pieces together in this bizarre case. According to officials, contractors were fixing a broken toilet when the found the human fetus logged in the sewer pipe. Although police aren’t sure the exact age of the fetus, authorities say it appears to be three to four months old.

The couple who live in the house are in their 60’s and have been questioned during the investigation.

“It may not be a crime scene,” said Chief Inspector Scott Small of the Philadelphia Police. “We’re still going to look into how developed the child was. But at this point it appears that someone may have had a miscarriage.”
