Stand-up comedian Patrice O’Neal died at the age of 41 following a stroke last month.
“It is with terrible sadness we must report that Patrice O’Neal has passed away this morning. Many of us have lost a close and loved friend; all of us have lost a true comic genius,” said his agent Matt Frost.
O’Neal, who a regular on Comedy Central and the “Opie & Anthony” radio show on Sirius XM endured a stroke last month and urged all his loved ones to keep him in his prayers.
