Man dies after being found unconscious in parking lot of Live! Casino

Philadelphia Police are investigating the death of a man who was found unresponsive in a Casino parking lot.
According to police, officers were called to respond to a report of a physical altercation in the parking lot of Live! Casino, located along the 900 block of Packer Avenue, at about 8:23 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Officers arrived to the scene and found a man there unresponsive.
The victim, a 49-year-old man, was taken to a nearby hospital where, officials said, he was pronounced dead at about 9:15 a.m.
A spokesperson for Live! released a statement that noted the man was still alive when he was taken off of the casino’s property.
Officials declared no weapons were recovered at the scene and no arrests have been made.
This incident is being investigated by the Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit, officials said.
