The Philadelphia Eagles are flying high and making history while they’re at it!
In their 27-13 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Eagles have won their 10th consecutive victory, marking the most in franchise history.
After a questionable performance last week, the Eagles offense was firing on all cylinders Sunday (Dec. 15). Both A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith had touchdowns and 100+ yard performances while Hurts passed for 290 yards and 2 touchdowns; the most Hurts has had since week 3.
Hurts addressed the narratives that the passing game needed improvement in his postgame interview when asked why the passing game clicked.

“It was a team effort and I think the reality is just because we don’t, doesn’t mean we can’t”
Hurts talked about the team being run heavy this season with their MVP running back Saquon Barkley in the backfield, but talked equally as highly about the receivers and the decisions he has to make as a Quarterback on where to go with the ball.
“There’s multiple ways to win. That’s (passing) kinda where we leaned today ” Jalen Hurts said as he sat down at the postgame press conference. “The opportunities are there, but it comes down to having good discernment on when to do something and when not to.”
