Robert Rihmeek Williams was sent to prison after he violated his probation by popping a wheelie on an Instagram video. This is the third time Meek has been sent to jail by Judge Genece Brinkley, and hopefully the last as Meek starts his journey for the reform of the criminal justice system. Last week, Meek Mill was released on bail ordered by Supreme Court of PA.

Today, April 2nd, Meek Mill, Pennsylvania Gov. Wolf, and Sixers co-owner Michael Rubin brought forth a proposal to alternate the practices that has landed over 200,000 people in Pennsylvania under supervision of the law being one of the highest in the nation.

According to Philly.com, Meek had some words which were ““I actually made a commitment to speaking for the voiceless. I spent time with these men and women, and watched families being broken apart because of addiction, mental illness, technical violations.”

Meek’s reform will not end here in which he plans to carry it into 2019 with a documentary series with Amazon. Documentary will consist of six parts that will document his journey for justice and further discuss flaws in the justice system.

After his wrongful conviction, many fans and supporters gathered together to protest and look closely at the criminal justice reform.

According to Deadline “This triggered a series of investigations, which will be explored in this documentary series. Each hour-long episode will chronicle Meek and his supporters as they attempt to uncover the different facets of corruption that kept him under the thumb of Philadelphia’s criminal justice system for over a decade while revealing his life post-incarceration. The series will also explore his childhood trauma that led to his career as a musician.”

We look forward to see the impact Meek will make with these recent moves, and hope a positive outcome is set for the future.
