Black Milk is one of Detroit’s best kept secrets. The producer-slash-emcee has built up a reputation for his hard beats and lyrical dexterity… sort of like a Kanye West for the underground, but without all the delusions of grandeur.
For the first single from his upcoming album, the auspiciously titled Album Of The Year, Black Milk is joined by fellow Detroit residents Elzhi (formerly of Slum Village), and Royce Da 5’9 for “Deadly Medley,” a song that shows that Black Milk’s new album just might live up to its title.
