Seems to be “Top 10 List” season for the music publication.
Billboard has created another list and this one is about the producers of hip hop. “The 10 Greatest Hip-Hop Beats of All Time.” has a unique criteria stating the production of beats that “stood the test of time.” Part of the criteria also includes pairing a beat with “just the right rapper to complement it.”
Each beat listed is made by a different producer or team. Producers like The Neptunes, Dr. Dre, RZA and DJ Premiere make the Top Ten list from Billboard.
This week the long time music magazine also released the “Top Ten Greatest Emcees of All Time” list, that caught the attention of hip hop fans and artists like Ghostface Killah and Snoop Dogg expressing their disapproval.
