NeNe Leakes Rakes In $1.5 Million For Per Season On ‘RHOA’
Chile, NeNe Leakes wasn’t playing when she said “I am very rich.” The “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” star is allegedly pulling in $1.5 million per season of the show, making her the highest paid housewife in Bravo history.
Season seven of “RHOA” begins November 9th and by the looks of the trailer, it’s going to be one of the most entertaining seasons thus far.
NeNe sure knows how to keep those checks coming in. She’s set to appear as the wicked stepmother in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella on Broadway, from Nov. 25 to Jan. 3, 2015.

J. Lo Taught Kerry Washington How To Dance
Before Kerry Washington became Olivia Pope, the new mom was acting in films like “Save The Last Dance” where she displayed some of her best dance moves. Little did we know, Kerry learned how to dance from fellow Bronx-native Jennifer Lopez! Kerry opened up about her boom-kack roots during an interview with Bobbi Brown, Yahoo’s Beauty Editor in Chief.
“You wouldn’t know it from my build, but Jennifer taught me how to dance. And I remember when she left the Boys club because she was leaving New York to go to LA to try and make it big and we were all like, ‘Oh my gosh.’”
Kerry also added,
“It is really interesting for me being an actress, because I feel like I have a responsibility to myself and to my family to have gone through this miraculous journey of pregnancy and birth and all of that and be healthy and sane and present and loving to myself and to my family. And then at the same time I have this responsibility to Olivia Pope, to be that character and maintain that essence of that character even if my belly is ever expanding.”
In related news, Shonda Rhimes’ hit show “How To Get Away With Murder” pulled in strong ratings for the second week in a row. The murder mystery pulled in 11 million viewers following the 14 million viewers that tuned in the week before, for the premiere episode.

Tasha Smith Thought Tyler Perry Was Asexual
You can always count on Tasha Smith to speak her mind. The “Why Did I Get Married” star visited the “Wendy Williams Show” recently where she was blindsided by news about Tyler Perry’s pregnancy, to which she responded:
“I used to think he was asexual, I didn’t think he had sex at all, okay! No seriously, I mean Tyler is like, he’s like an uncle that never has sex like seriously. I was just shocked and I’m so happy for him. He’s is going to be a daddy. I used to think he would just be the Uncle Daddy, you know.”
Tasha has starred in plenty of Perry films, but we have a feeling we won’t be seeing her in any of his forthcoming projects! Perry is expecting a baby boy with his girlfriend Gelila Bekele. Perry opened up about his little bundle of joy, in an interview with Extra.
“The greatest gift I’m being given right now is the opportunity to give the little boy in me everything I never had, so that’s what I’m excited about,” Perry said. “This beautiful human being that God has allowed to come into my life for me to get to know, because they come with their own personalities, who they are, to shepherd and usher him…”
In other pregnancy news, Kimora Lee Simmons and her hubby Tim Leissner are expecting a baby! We totally know what you’re thinking…she remarried? Yup. This makes baby number four for Kimora.

Raven-Symoné: “I Never Said I Wasn’t Black, I Said I’m Not African-American”
Raven-Symoné doesn’t open up about her personal life or beliefs often, but when she does — it causes all kinds of uproar. The former “Cosby” and “That’s So Raven” star sat down with Oprah on “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” for a candid chat about her sexuality. Raven revealed that she is in a relationship with a woman but doesn’t like to be labeled by her sexuality…or race.
“I’m tired of being labeled,” she said. “I’m an American. I’m not an African-American. I’m an American.” She added, “What I really mean by that is I’m an American. That’s what I really mean. I have darker skin. I have a nice, interesting grade of hair. I connect with Caucasian. I connect with Asian. I connect with Black. I connect with Indian. I connect with each culture.”
The comment sent viewers into a tirade and spawned numerous think pieces. Raven recently responded to the backlash, saying:
“I never said I wasn’t black… I want to make that very clear,” She told TheGrio.com. “I said, I am not African-American. I never expected my personal beliefs and comments to spark such emotion in people. I think it is only positive when we can openly discuss race and being labeled in America.”
As offended as we were by Raven’s comments, we’re just ready to move on. People say silly things all of the time.
