In a recent interview for the new issue of Billboard magazine, Drake makes a statement about Kendrick Lamar’s verse on the track, Control, which K-Dot mentions Drake and other rappers that he is looking to crush competitively. In the newest issue, which hits newsstands September 2nd, Drake tells the magazine,
It just sounded like an ambitious thought to me. That’s all it was. I know good and well that Kendrick’s not murdering me, at all, in any platform. So when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic.”- Drake to Billboard Mag
