Marty McFly’s hoverboard from Back to the Future has finally been produced! French Artist Nils Guadagnin created a life-sized McFly hoverboard that not only floats, but can carry up to 5 pounds. If the beginning of a process to create a life-like hoverboard which will hold the weight of a human and even fly like Mcfly’s in Back to the Future. Guadagnin used electromagnets along with a laser guidance system to get the hoverboard to float.
He say’s that this is just the beginning of the process and that it’s all a “work in progress.” Could we be flying hoverboard soon or is the dream still just a dream. Odds are we will be hovering all over the streets in a few years, but just don’t take the thing over water.
