Almost Famous Events, which she launched in June 2021, has been a beacon for up-and-coming designers, stylists, and artists looking to connect and build their brands. Melasia’s journey from a college graduate with a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising and Business Management to founding Almost Famous is an inspiring one. Driven by her entrepreneurial fire, she envisioned a platform where local creatives could shine. Surrounded by equally talented friends, she made it happen.
The highlight of the night? A surprise audience “walk-off, ” where attendees strutted their stuff with enthusiasm, proving that fashion isn’t just for the runway. Almost Famous Events also hosts pop-up shops, giving even more visibility to local talent.
