NEWARK, Del. (AP) – November 12, 2010 — Delaware State Police say three female patients were fondled by a man posing as a doctor at Christiana Hospital in Newark.
Troopers say the incidents occurred between Oct. 29 and Thursday, and were reported to state police on Friday.
Authorities say the man, wearing a white lab coat, entered the victims’ rooms, posing as a physician. He performed a physical exam on the women, during which he improperly touched and fondled them.
State police say the hospital has increased security and surveillance and is reviewing ID card readers and surveillance videos.
