Delaware Blue Coats Open Tryouts Give Players a Shot at NBA Opportunity

The Delaware Blue Coats, the NBA G League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers, are giving aspiring professional basketball players another opportunity to chase their NBA dreams with open tryouts ahead of the 2026-27 season.

The Blue Coats will hold two tryout sessions this fall: Sept. 12 at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, and Oct. 4 at Chase Fieldhouse in Wilmington, Delaware. Registration costs $199, and the fee is non-refundable.

The opportunity could be a significant one for players looking to break into the professional ranks. The Blue Coats won the G League championship in 2023, and standout players can potentially earn a path toward an NBA roster and the Sixers.
