headbutBRICK, N.J. – January 22, 2010 — Brick Township police say a man head butted a co-worker during a training session and then attacked police officers who tried to arrest him.

Brad Sorrentino faces numerous charges – including aggravated assault on a police officer and making terroristic threats – and was being held Friday on $100,000 bail.

The incident occurred Wednesday while the 26-year-old was attending a training session for new employees at an auto warranty processing firm, police said.

After being asked to leave because he was disruptive, Sorrentino allegedly threatened his fellow workers and head butted one employee.

When officers tried to arrest Sorrentino, he threw himself on the floor and caused them to fall. Sorrentino also allegedly kicked one officer and later threatened to kill more police while being taken to the Ocean County Jail.
