Saquon Barkley Wins BIG at 2025 ESPY Awards

Saquon Barkley continued his dominance as he won multiple awards during the 2025 ESPY Awards.
Barkley’s backwards hurdle won him ‘Best Play’ of the year, and he was also awarded ‘Best NFL Player‘ of the year for an outstanding season, being nearly 100 yards shy of setting the NFL record for rushing yards in a season.

Eagles offensive lineman Jordan Mailata accepted the awards on behalf of Barkley.
Mailata credited Barkley for his team first approach and selfless attitude, being the reason he’s so successful.

“If Saquon were here today, he would say that ‘this is a team award'” Mailata said. “He would say because of the team that he could jump 40 inches vertical.. backwards, over a player. He would say that no man is an island, and that he draws his strength from others”.
The Philadelphia Eagles won ‘Best Team’ as well.
