Fat Joe Slams Lies After Lawsuit Acusses Him Of Sex Acts With Minors

Fat Joe has vehemently denied the allegations brought against him by his former hypeman, Terrance “T.A.” Dixon. In a $20 million lawsuit, Dixon accuses the rapper, whose real name is Joseph Antonio Cartagena, of a range of serious offenses, including “coercive labor exploitation, financial fraud, sexual manipulation, violent intimidation, and psychological coercion.”
In response, Fat Joe took to social media on Wednesday to address the claims. “I’ve been tested these last few months – I’ve lost my big brother, my father, my mother, and now I’m fighting these disgusting lies,” he wrote. “But please know I will not break and I will never back down. I’ve had people in my circle take my love and kindness for weakness, but how many times must we forgive them?”
The rapper’s statement underscores his resolve to stand against what he describes as false accusations, reaffirming his commitment to persevere through personal and professional challenges. Fans and followers alike have shown support for Fat Joe, while the legal proceedings continue to unfold.
A complaint filed on June 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York has brought serious allegations against rapper Fat Joe, claiming his involvement in sexual acts with women, including minors. The lawsuit, filed by his former hypeman, Terrance “T.A.” Dixon, is being handled by Tyrone Blackburn, who is also representing plaintiffs in a high-profile case against Sean “Diddy” Combs.
In the legal filing, Dixon accuses Fat Joe of forcing him into “humiliating situations,” which allegedly included coerced sex acts under duress and surveillance. Dixon claims that he was threatened with abandonment in foreign countries if he did not comply with these demands, asserting that he was coerced into performing over 4,000 sexual acts.
In a separate incident on Wednesday, Blackburn was arrested for allegedly hitting Fat Joe’s process server with his car, leading to charges of assault, harassment, reckless driving, and criminal possession of a weapon. Fat Joe’s representatives argue that the incident occurred when Blackburn attempted to avoid being served with a lawsuit. The rapper’s legal team had filed extortion claims against Dixon and Blackburn earlier this year, claiming the two were trying to damage Fat Joe’s reputation.
Fat Joe’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, expressed disdain for Blackburn’s actions, calling his arrest “no surprise” and describing it as part of a broader pattern of misconduct. Tacopina also emphasized that Fat Joe had proactively filed a lawsuit in April, anticipating that Dixon and Blackburn would make false claims against him. “I’m confident my client’s name will be cleared,” Tacopina stated, “and Blackburn will be held accountable.”
Dixon’s lawsuit also includes claims of exploitation, alleging that Fat Joe hindered his creative contributions. Dixon claims that he played a key role in the success of Fat Joe’s projects, including live performances and background vocals on songs such as “Congratulations,” “Ice Cream,” and “Money Over Bitches.”
In a response to the accusations, Fat Joe dismissed Dixon’s claims, suggesting that he was fired for a wrongdoing and is now attempting to destroy his reputation. “They think they can make up insane stories and pressure me with a lawsuit,” Fat Joe said, “but I’ve never been extorted by anyone, and I won’t start now.”
The legal battles continue, with both sides bracing for further proceedings. Fat Joe has made it clear: “We will finish you in court.”
