South Jersey’s fast‑food scene is about to get a blast from the past as beloved Western‑themed barbecue chain Roy Rogers makes its grand return. The location will be at 614 Haddonfield Road in Cherry Hill, with an anticipated opening in late spring or early summer 2025.

Fans of the ’70s and ’80s will remember the iconic menu staples: USDA‑choice roast beef sandwiches, hand‑breaded fried chicken, and the signature Double‑R Bar burger topped with ham. A major highlight: the Fixin’s Bar, stocked with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and house‑made sauces—allowing guests to customize to their heart’s content.

The new Cherry Hill location is the only burger‑focused drive‑thru on busy Haddonfield Road, and it’s just 10 minutes from Center City Philadelphia. It’ll include dine‑in, takeout, drive‑thru, plus modern upgrades like digital menu boards, self‑order kiosks, and a refreshed wood‑and‑black‑iron aesthetic for a warm, inviting dining experience.

Company leaders say they’ve fielded “an overwhelming number of requests” from longtime fans eager to welcome the chain back after its departure in the 1980s. Co‑President Jim Plamondon emphasized the brand’s appeal across generations: “Roy’s legacy fans will be thrilled … new guests will be pleased with our diverse menu and quality … you can’t find anywhere else.”

As nostalgia meets modern convenience, Cherry Hill’s reopening could signal a broader expansion in the Philadelphia region—delivering fast, casual, and downright delicious dining with a dose of retro charm. Stay tuned for opening dates, giveaways, and first‑day specials as Roy Rogers makes its triumphant ride back into town.
