Philadelphia police are looking for a vehicle in which authorities say was involved in a deadly hit-and-run.

According to police, the incident happened at 12:15 a.m. in the 2700 block of North Broad Street.

A man in his 60s was struck by the vehicle while crossing Broad Street. The man was rushed to Temple Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Officials have not yet released the identity of the victim.

Police revealed that car parts and personal items the victim was holding were left behind at the scene.

Police believe they are looking for a black SUV, possibly a Buick or Chevrolet. It was last seen heading towards West Lehigh Ave.

Officers are still gathering for more surveillance in the area of what happened.
