NBC 10 Reports, North Philadelphia residents woke up to tragedy this morning. A pickup truck was ambushed and sprayed with bullets, leaving one man dead and two others hospitalized.

Police say this was no random shooting. The victims appeared to be specifically targeted. The truck was fired upon at least 17 times around 3 a.m. on the 2500 block of North 10th Street.

The shooter, or shooters, fled the scene. Authorities are still piecing together a motive.
