[WATCH] SEPTA bus hits and drags vehicle down the street

Officials are investigating an incident involving a SEPTA bus colliding with a vehicle in Philadelphia, leaving several people with injuries, officials said.
SEPTA officials say the incident happened Friday, April 4, 2025, shortly after 4 p.m. near Roosevelt Boulevard and Sanger Street.
SEPTA’s Route 82 Bus had made contact with a vehicle, and five passengers on the bus and two passengers in the car sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
In video, you can see the bus in a T-bone position with a red Honda SUV. The bus continues its route, dragging the car along the front of the bus.
Social media users are alluding that the bus driver should be fired for his actions, but understand the hell, that is Philly traffic, alluding that the driver of the Honda, may have done something to warrant the collision.
“He’s getting fired but I feel him tho” bonafide_amazon commented.
“This is not funny but if you’re from Philly this is actually funny” mrs.nicnack84 said.
“I used to live in Philly and this shit happens all day everyday. Bus drivers are fucking awesome.” baca_rambo wrote. “One time two guys were stealing my bike in broad daylight at the bus stop and I hardly had time to even react when the bus stopped and bus driver got out with a passenger helped me fight the thugs and we just jumped on the bus and got out of there. Didn’t even put my bike on the rack he said bring it inside”
Officials said SEPTA investigators are reviewing the video posted on social media of the incident and surveillance video as part of the investigation.
Officials added that they will also be conducting a full mechanical inspection of the bus as well.
