In the first two weeks of April, four Philadelphia libraries will host Federal Employee Transit Workshops in order to help any of the thousands of workers that were impacted by the recent lay offs and cuts.

The workshops are set to be ran by volunteers. With their help, past federal employees will receive tips for updating resumes, job search tools, and getting the most out of LinkedIn.

This event is going to be sponsored by the Free Library of Philadelphia. Their goal is to create networking possibilities for fellow federal workers and guidance and mentorship’s on moving on to a new career.

Down below is a list of the libraries where the workshops will be hosted:

Joseph E. Coleman Northwest Regional Library: April 1 at 5 p.m.
