Comedian Corey Holcomb claims he got sucker punched by female comedian Cristina Payne and is now seeking court-ordered protection.

Holcomb stated that his beef with the comedian began in December outside the Hollywood Improv, when Payne put hands on him as his back was turned to her. In the documents, Holcomb claimed she hurled a bunch of insults and obscenities worthy of a celebrity roast. Some of the comments Payne made were about Holcomb’s mother and his finances.

The comedian also stated that once Payne put her hands on him, her boyfriend also joined in to hitting Holcomb. In his request for a restraining order, he claimed she provided TMZ with a video that does not show the whole altercation. The part of the video that is shown makes it look like Holcomb is most aggressive in their encountering.

A judge denied Corey’s request for an immediate TRO. However, there was a hearing scheduled where they can both voice their side. Payne has yet to make a statement on their interaction an altercation.
