Election Day Freebies: Five Places To Get FREE Food for Voters

The annual tradition of incentivising voters to adhere to their democratic duty returns today (November 5).
As we close in on the 2024 presidential election, there are multiple eateries throughout Philadelphia that are offering incentives to make sure people get out and vote!
Lyft is offering a 50% discount up to $10 on Election Days ride to the polls if users preload the ride code VOTE24. Lyft has already helped 3 million people get to the polls over the years since launching the program.
Check out these eateries offering FREE FOOD to citizens of Philadelphia that have exercised their right to vote!
Country Cookin
The Philadelphia-famous Saudia Shuler is offering over 3,000 free platters to citizens of Philadelphia who have voted. The platter included one choices of meat and two sides of your choice. The Country Cookin giveaway is located at 3824 N. Broad St.
Pizza to the Polls
The nonprofit delivers free pizza to voters waiting in long polling lines, and is handing out 1,500 slices in Philly over the course of the day.
Pizza to the polls will be stopping at Bright Hope Baptist Church (1601 N. 12th St., 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.), South Philadelphia High School (2101 S. Broad St., 2:30-4:30 p.m.), and West Philadelphia High School (4901 Chestnut St., 4-5:30 p.m.).
Famous 4th Street Delicatessen
This deli is a annual Election Day gathering spot for politicians, and is also thanking ‘I voted’ sticker-wearing customers with a gratis serving of potato pancakes or a cookie of their choice. Famous 4th Street Delicatessen is located on 700 S. 4th St.
Love City Brewing
Liquid food is also fun to consume, especially after a long hard dy at the polls. Anyone who asks can get a free 10 oz. beer, but it would be cool if you also voted!” Love City promises. They’ll also have an election watch party from 6 to 11 p.m so you can celebrate (or not) with a beer in your hand. Love City Brewing is located on 1023 Hamilton Street.
FCM Hospitality
Several FCM Hospitality restaurants and bars will offer a free Mainstay Beer to those showing an “I Voted” sticker. FCM Hospitality group includes restaurants such asL Craft Hall, Harper’s Garden, Juno, Lola’s Garden, Lucy’s, Rosy’s Taco Bar, Rosy’s Taco Bar East, and Walnut Garden.
