Frozen waffles sold under dozens of different brand names at Giant Eagle, Walmart, Target, and other stores in the United States are being recalled.
The recall is due to a possibility of listeria contamination. The waffles were sold in packages of various eights under Walmarts Great Value brand, Targets Good and Gather, and others known as the Best Choice, Clover Valley, Kodiak Cakes, and many others.
As of Friday, Oct 18, there have been no confirmed reports of illnesses, according to the release. The contamination was discovered during the routine testing at the manufacturing facility.

The infection presents fever, flu like symptoms, such as muscle aches and fatigue, headaches, and a stiff neck. Anyone who thinks they might be infected should contact their health care provider.
Customers should dispose of the recalled products or return them for store credit. For any questions, you can call the company at 1-800-596-2903 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday – Friday.
