Daughter Of John Amos Finds Death Of Father Via Social Media

Famous actor John Amos passed away back in August and his family gave the news to the public on Monday. (Sept 30th)

As both the public and the Amos family mourn his passing, his daughter Shannon Amos found out about his passing online.

On Instagram, she posted a tribute to her father with a caption stating: “I am without words…Our family has received the heartbreaking news that my Dad, John Allen Amos Jr, transitioned on August 21st. We are devastated and left with many questions about how this happened 45 days ago, learning about it through the media like so many of you. My family and I are struggling to navigate the wave of emotions are uncertainties surrounding his passing. Still, there is some semblance of peace in knowing my father is finally free.”

Before her fathers passing, Shannon Amos also had allegations on how her father was a victim of elder abuse.

John Amos was 84 years old when he passed away.
