Americans Can Now Order Free COVID-19 Test

Starting in the beginning of October, Americans will be able to order free COVID-19 test kits that will be mailed to their homes.

U.S. households will be able to order up to four nasal swab test at COVIDTest.gov once the website opens. According to U.S. Health and Human Services agency, there has not been an exact date on when people can start ordering.

Once the site opens for orders, all of the test will arrive to people’s homes right before Thanksgiving. That way families can have the test while visiting family during the holidays.

In the beginning of summer, there was a new COVID vaccine booster shot released. If tested with COVID, health officials recommend people to self isolate and wear mask to not infect others.

If you need a COVID test before the site opens up for orders, you can buy one for around $19 dollars over the counter at any local pharmacy store.
