A Wells Fargo employee in Arizona passed away in her cubicle for four days before anyone noticed she was dead.
Denise Prudhomme, 60, clocked in at the Wells Fargo in Temple, Arizona on Friday at 7 am. Since then, it is on record that she did not scan out of the office. Her body was discovered on the third floor of the building by an on-site security guard.
As the police did their investigation, they saw that there was no signs of foul play in her death. They stated that as of now they do not have anymore information at this time and that it is still an ongoing investigation.
Wells Fargo has since reached out to both the public and the Prudhomme family. In a statement, Wells Fargo stated that they were “deeply saddened by the loss of their colleague.” They followed up by stating that Wells Fargo is “committed to the safety and wellness of our workforce and are reviewing our own internal procedures after this event.”
The branch that Denise worked noted that she sat in a “very underpopulated area of the office.” Several employees said that they smelt a foul odor, but they passed it off as faulty plumbing.
