A young boy was struck and killed by River Line train going a northbound in Palmyra, Burlington County this morning (Aug. 8)

According to 6abc Action News, It happened around 8:15 a.m. Thursday at the Chestnut Street crossing.

Rail services between Cinnaminson and the Pennsauken Transit Center has been suspended.

There has been no immediate word on the details of what caused this incident. The victim has only been identified as a juvenile male.

According to sources, 29 people were on board the train at the time of the incident. There were no injuries to any of the passengers.

This is a developing story as New Jersey Transit police are investigating.
