A convicted burglar was sentenced Thursday for stealing from a Grant Park home and was so stunned he nearly passed out and had to be dragged out of court.
DeGeorgio Jackson was dragged out of court after a judge sentenced him to spend 15 years of a 20 year sentence in jail for burglarizing a Grant Park home.
The owners of the Grant Park home, Dan and Alyssa Kopp, posted video of their home being burglarized on YouTube.com. The Kopps said they returned home in October of 2008 to find that their door had been kicked in and thousands of dollars in property stolen
