In the wake of the catastrophic earthquake in Haiti, Omarion is asking fans to help the Caribbean nation rather then buy his album Ollusion, which hit stores this week. He writes on Twitter, “I’d rather you all take the time and send the money to Haiti instead. Get my album another time, hit Care.org and send something A-S-A-P.”

Celebrity support for the crisis in Haiti continues to pour in.

Although he’s in the midst of a career-wrecking scandal, Tiger Woods has reportedly used some of his millions to “send a cargo plane with a mobile hospital out there,” according to a Twitter post from Russell Simmons.

Actor and activist George Clooney has announced he’s teamed with M-T-V to organize a celebrity telethon to raise money for the cause.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt — who were heavily involved with Wyclef’s Yele Haiti foundation way before the earthquake — have donated one-million dollars.

Clef’s efforts to gather donations via Twitter has so far raised one million dollars, which fund-raising experts say is the largest amount of money raised for a cause so soon after a tragedy.
