Lil Wayne’s highly-anticipated “Tha Carter IV” will reportedly have its songs trashed and replaced by new material following the Young Money leader’s release from jail this November.  According to Cortez Bryant (Who is Lil Wayne’s manager) Wayne’s work ethic will not allow him to settle for tracks that were done a year ago before he went into jail to be released as “new” material. Here is what he had to say:

“I know once he got out [of jail] those songs would be so old to him,” Bryant explains. Bryant says the notoriously workaholic Wayne will immediately hit the studio once he gets released and that he will most likely release another mixtape of material before turning his attention to Tha Carter IV, which Bryant now estimates won’t hit stores until next year. “He’s going to probably start from scratch,” says Bryant. “I know how he records–he’s in the studio every single day. That’s his life.”

So it looks like Weezy fans will have to wait at least a couple more months for his new album. Keep it on the beat for all the latest info.
