Kanye West dropped out of Coachella 2019 because of staging issues. We now know more details.
West canceled because the festival wouldn’t build him a giant dome in the middle of the festival.
The dome couldn’t be built in four months time and it would have changed how the festival was set up. A large group of portable bathrooms would have to be moved.
West became angry during a call with festival co-founder Paul Tollett. Kanye told Tollett that he is an “artist with a creative vision who shouldn’t be spending his time talking about port-a-potties.”
