Cardi B has had a very packed year, from releasing her debut album, getting married to Offset, having a baby, a Fashion Nova Collection, Receiving album of the year by Time Mag, and of course her feud with Nicki Minaj, but the most thing that was satisfying for her this year was accomplishing on getting her mother her dream home. Cardi B did just that and took to IG.
“Stay down till you come up !” Cardi captioned the Instagram video she posted. “Its always been a dream to buy my mother a house .Last year i was so thirsty to buy my mom a house but the ones i was interested for her weren’t at my price range .I worked and worked and now I’m here !! Thank you everybody who supported me to make my childhood dreams come true! Buy my momma a house !!…..don’t ask me for shit motherfuckers i got big girls bills.”
In the video snippets shared on IG, Cardi gives a tour of the new home, referring to being able to make such a monumental purchase for her mom as the “happiest day of my life.”
“Last year, I was so thirsty to buy my mom a home, and I could only afford a house that cost $600,000, and you know, we live in New York,” she continues, showing off the home’s gorgeous interior and giving a glimpse into the foyer, kitchen and stairway.
