New Orleans rapper Young Greatness was killed in New Orleans on Monday morning. Greatness, whose real name is Theodore Jones, had returned to New Orleans for a funeral and according to his mother, Jeanine Rose, he was on the phone with his manager when the first gunshots were heard.
Young Greatness had moved to Houston after hurricane Katrina and gained success with his hit, “Moolah” which hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2015.
The New Orleans Police Department is reporting that two people were involved in the shooting that took place around 1:35 am on Monday morning. They took Greatness’s car which is why there hasn’t been a description released on the suspects or the car.
